Pharrell’s solo career didn’t quite take off the way he expected it to, but we don’t mind. His best work was with his hip-hop/rock band N*E*R*D anyway, so we were delighted to hear they are back together again, with a new album due out in June. Oh, happy days! Whether you love American Idol or hate it, you can’t deny the power of it. In just 3 months, regular folks and wannabes are catapulted to international superstardom. David Cook is the winner of the 2008 season, and here he is with “The Time Of My LIfe.” The song sounds very I-just-became-the-next-winner-of-american-idol-ish.
