Paulini - Married Man

“Married Man” is another stand out track by Australian singer, Paulini. “Married Man” was meant to be released as a single but was changed to “I Believe” at the last minute, another wrong choice. “Married Man” is my personal favourite on her album Superwoman. Have a listen and leave a comment.

CoCo Lee - No Doubt

coco lee

Although CoCo Lee isn’t a big star in her native US, she is one of Asia’s biggest stars. The fact that she is relatively unknown in other parts of the world is a shame because it’s songs like the catchy “No Doubt” that the rest of the world have to miss out on… until now.

Holly Valance - Action

The seventh secret recipe is another Holly Valance track from her sophomore release State of Mind. “Action” is another catchy track that would’ve pushed the album far if it got a release. Wrong single choices has probably made Holly not think about music. There was talk of new material on her official site but nothing has happened. Holly recently said “No one can make any money. It was a really tough slog and I had a good go at it, but it was difficult. You put in so much effort and put in so many long hours for not much return. I was making all my money from endorsements and appearances, but I didn’t make that much from the actual record sales. I think everyone is suffering in the music industry. It wasn’t just me. I do something until it’s not fun any more and then move on. Music wasn’t fun any more.” I was really hoping for a third album, oh well.

Beyoncé - Keep Giving Your Love To Me

beyonce

Our next secret recipe comes from the one and only Beyoncé. The P. Diddy produced “Keep Giving Your Love To Me” didn’t make the star’s Dangerously In Love album, but was included on the popular Bad Boys II Soundtrack instead. The song carries Beyoncé’s signature vocal acrobatics and the music is among the best Diddy has ever produced, and he doesn’t annoy the hell out of the listener by talking all over the track like he usually does. Ain’t he nice?

Paulini - Shake It Up

Our fifth Secret Recipe comes from the talented Australian artist, Paulini. “Shake It Up” Feat. Nate Wade was one of the better tracks from her second studio album Superwoman. The catchy song should have been released as a single, but what do record bosses know? Fans know more! Have a listen and leave your comments.

Özlem Tekin - Kimbilir

I don’t remember the last time a song had me so addicted to the groove. Turkey’s Özlem Tekin, originally from New York, will have you bopping to her bouncy electro-beat driven pop dance smash “Kimbilir (Who Knows)”. Everyone I have played this song to has asked me for a copy, it’s that good. Özlem is now famous for her left of centre musical choices, and when she gets it right, she creates masterpieces like this. I want more!

Kylie Minogue - My Image Unlimited

Kyie

Secret recipe #3 comes from another Aussie singer, the amazing Kylie Minogue. Her Body Language album was widely considered a commercial dissapointment for the star, as it did not reach the sales levels it’s predecessor Fever did. The album is condidered a favourite among her fans though, and one of the best songs to come out of the recording sessions, “My Image Unlimited”, didn’t even make the final cut (what are those label execs smoking?). The song is as sexy and edgy as a Kylie track can get. Pure pop-r&b-electro heaven. And what an awesome title for a song, come on!

Holly Valance - Everything I Hate

holly valance

Our second secret recipe in the series comes from Aussie singer Holly Valance, with her electro-pop flavoured song, “Everything I Hate”. Many of you may remember Holly for her UK and Australian No. 1 smash “Kiss Kiss” off her debut album, but it’s songs like “Everything I Hate” off her sophomore release that did her real justice. Unfortunately the album didn’t do too well, and only one single, “State Of Mind” was released. “Everything I Hate” is guaranteed to have you singing along for hours, it’s that catchy. Don’t believe me? Listen for yourself.
